Too Busy to Work Smart?

Work smart not hard as the saying goes. We all know it makes sense but ironically most of us are working too hard to make sure we are doing it! Only recently we went into what is a very successful SME that was nonetheless underperforming in the eyes of its Managing Director. The question was WHY?
Discussing some of their business processes soon revealed that the sales team were inundated with filling in a variety of forms, often with duplicate information and then drawing reports partially manually from the disparate data.
When questioned about the impact this had on their performance, the sales team were the first to admit that due to the time spent on admin they only had time to follow up just over half of their quotes.
The solution was simple - by helping them to develop an integrated solution, where all relevant data is pulled into a single area, we have freed up their time to focus on the critical following up of quotes and enquiries. Putting the weight of their work back into bringing in business and improving their conversion rate of quotes to orders.
